Do you intend to send sumissions from a from in the Silverstripe system through an API into another system? This would be somewhat easy.

If you're intending as I read though to create a userform (https://packagist.org/packages/silverstripe/userforms) and then capture the configuration of the form itself for use in another system - this will be more difficult.
