Message of the day:
Latest 3.x release: 3.7.1 - it runs on php 7! This is the channel for any SS3-related questions
Backend discussions on SilverStripe 3. For version 4 or newer, see #C36U3BDHN|ss4 or #C0QSDASKT|general. If you are using a version lower than SS3.4, please state, because it makes a difference!
could be this behaviour changed in latest ss3, but I don't believe so. Did you :flush: ?
normally mysite overwrites a module if mysite is configured as project in _config.php, which is default
Has anyone experienced that a translation file from a module has priority over
mysite/lang/*.yml ? Currently a translation in my project is being overridden by the
userforms module. Which i dont think should happen if i understand this correctly: https://docs.silverstripe.org/en/3/developer_guides/i18n/#module-priority
It's not broken.... so far 😄
IMO, the Newsletter module still has it's place, but it's definitely not to send out mass mailings 🙂
And I can't be arsed because it works 😂
I still use the newsletter module in one or two projects, because migrating is harder than the yearly price for the service
Anything more than 20 emails means, don't DIY 🙂
