I've only updated the 7.2 workspace Dockerfile though

a simple option is to place this in your web root as docker-compose.yml

  1. version: '2'
  2. services:
  3. web:
  4. image: brettt89/silverstripe-web:7.1-platform
  5. working_dir: /var/www
  6. volumes:
  7. - .:/var/www/html
  8. ports:
  9. - "80:80"
  10. database:
  11. image: mariadb
  12. volumes:
  13. - ~/srv/docker/data/mysql/client/project:/var/lib/mysql
  14. restart: always
  15. environment:
  16. - MYSQL_ALLOW_EMPTY_PASSWORD=true

then sudo docker-compose up -d web database should get you a site up and running

It’s just a pagetype, rather than a module. One sec

aka "Github intended to store your password as bcrypt, but we ended up just saving them as plain text"

probably just means that some post data containing a password got recorded somewhere
