Hi guys, does ss4 perform better in nginx? or apache?

That's not a thing. it's PHP that determines SilverStripe's performance, Apache and/or Nginx have nothing to do with that part

yeah you have to configure .htaccess manually

PHP config in Nginx is pretty easy, but it still does not affect the SilverStripe performance, it affects static file serving performance

chrome annoying anyone else with hex codes like #00000079

Just updating one of our sites to take advantage of the new public folder structure and all seems to be working except for the public/javascript folder. I dont seem to be able to access files in this folder through the browser, just get 404 errors. If i rename the folder to js i can

Does your .htaccess file by any chance accidentally block *javascript*?
