I'm using https://github.com/symbiote/silverstripe-queuedjobs with cron to run some tasks. The queuedjobs task gives an output though. Is there a way to silence the task when used in cron?

Hmm I could do this and it gets muted, not too sure what it exactly does thoug..

  1. dev/tasks/ProcessJobQueueTask queue=2 >/dev/null 2>&1

@sander_ha That's the right way. Just sends the output of the command to a black hole

Is there any way to calculate programmatically how dark an image is? (Like a value between 0 and 100 0=WHITE 100=BLACK)

You can do it with both GD or ImageMagick... so quite probably via Intervention too

You just need to set a threshold and then check the image pixels against it

Yes, so Intervention has a pickColor() method.. you'd use that
