Does anyone else on here really dislike using React? Or is it just me?
I also dislike it a lot.
Also dislike. Vastly prefer Vue
I actually really like React. I hated it over Vue at the beginning. Working with it more and more has me seeing the light a bit
it's a tool... should I have emotions?
well I suppose tools should be efficient, so far I have found the amount of time faffing about with it doesn't seem to justify the results
plus call me old fashioned, but it does grate on me a bit putting HTML inside JS files
I think it’s fine if used appropriately… some UI’s just really don’t need to be built in React
I guess as it is created by Facebook I am always concerned it might be secretly stealing my data!
I had to get over the idea of mixing JS and HTML etc, and understand why these tools exist, but still don’t like React
Like Vue better
Ugh, how did I miss this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strong_customer_authentication
Strong customer authentication (SCA) is a requirement of the EU Revised Directive on Payment Services (PSD2) on payment service providers within the European Economic Area. The SCA requirement comes into force from 14 September 2019. The requirement ensures that electronic payments are performed with multi-factor authentication, to increase the security of electronic payments. Physical card transactions already commonly have what could be termed strong customer authentication in the EU (Chip and PIN), but this has not generally been true for Internet transactions across the EU prior to the implementation of the requirement.Hide attachment content
