What did you do in the end? It might help someone in the future

vanny

I looked at the source and added a <div><label>View on Site</label>

vanny

I put the HTML in the literal field that CMS normally outpits

Hels

hey @wmk just thought i'd say thanks for the help (even though you don't know about it!!) - your website (http://silverstrip.es/blog/get-all-titles-of-a-many-many-component-in-a-gridfield-summary/) fixed something for me (finally remembered that it isn't written in Spanish so I can click on it when it appears in a google search!!!)

wmk

Should I finally move it to another domain? Though the Rest of the URL is in plain English...

Hels

nah, put it wherever you like! realistically it will be nearly entirely computer experts that visit it, so they will probably realise its sort of a pun rather than a spanish site (it also took me quite a while to realise that http://appear.in isn't an Indian website!!)

wmk

And thank you very much for the notice

Hels

sorry, I won't be there! I am not actually a computer person, just doing 1 site to help a friend

greg_808

Maybe you should move to another domain i‘d recommend silverstripe.dev I think you lose a lot of traffic because of the es tld.

wmk

moving to another domain is kinda tricky seo wise, isn't it? I already have one registered.

wmk

@Hels well, we're a nice mixed crowd (developers, managers / owners, etc..) meeting annually in a different location. The talks are mixed (see schedule) and offer a wide range of topics. And from my remembers, the crowd is quite inclusive, isn't it @greg_808?

anyone here know if the goolge page speed test takes geographical location into account. And SEO company is running the test, and showing page speed in the 60's, but when I run it, I get 99.

dorsetdigital

Are you both looking at the same result? Same page, same device, etc.

Jose

Hello, Silverstripe download is very big about 300MB, is there a way to upload only the files and database that create and manage the CMS and website, in order to not overload the website with a full framework? Is there a minimum installation download only for the website and CMS?. Thanks.

Karan Kumar

@Jose Not sure the purpose of it but did you have a look at this module: https://github.com/silverstripe/sspak
