Thanks for your help, I will prefer not to mess with the .env file right now I lost countless hours installing the VM with 3 different methods. I would like to solve the rewrite issue, and to continue with the website, thanks Regards

I just changed ErrorPage to extend Homepage ( a custom class which extends Page) and added the use use App\Website\HomePage which is the namespace for that class and it now shows PHP Fatal error: Class 'App\Website\HomePage' not found in /home/nd/public_html/vendor/silverstripe/errorpage/src/ErrorPage.php on line 38 so the same issue that Errrorpage cant seem to get out of its namespace

muskie9

@adrianstein don't edit anything in vendor... it'll get overridden in any subsequent composer updates

adrianstein

I just did it to test to see what would happen. Not a fix just tryign to debug the issue

Aaron Cooper
  1. "autoload": {
  2. "classmap": [
  3. "app/src/Page.php",
  4. "app/src/PageController.php"
  5. ],
  6. "psr-4": {
  7. "Company\\MyNameSpaceForOtherStuff\\": "app/src/"
  8. }
  9. },
adrianstein

I assume by Company\\MyNameSpaceForOtherStuff it would be my namespace for the rest of my files?

adrianstein

Might have fixed it. Still doesnt work but get some other error

adrianstein

Use of uninitialized value $cwd in string ne at /var/cpanel/ea4/ea_php_cli.pm line 329.1 is the error

adrianstein

@Aaron Cooper would that change affect other places where I have got Use Page; in other NSs

muskie9

in recent experience... cpanel + SS(4) == blah

muskie9

not cpanel specific, but the cpanel hosts specifically... just a pain in our experience

Aaron Cooper

Well it would affect anything using Page in that it can be found

Aaron Cooper

Page and PageController are in the global scope

adrianstein

so instead of using use Page; do I now go use App\website\Page;?

Aaron Cooper

No not at all. use Page or extends /Page.

adrianstein

cause after that I have a similar thing that an extend of page cant be found

adrianstein

HP Fatal error: Uncaught InvalidArgumentException: Page references nonexistent OGMetadataPageExtension in 'extensions' in /home/nd/public_html/vendor/silverstripe/framework/src/Core/Config/Middleware/ExtensionMiddleware.php:70

adrianstein

similar but not the same. That extension does extend page tho

adrianstein

`Page: extensions:

  • App\OGMetaData\OGMetadataPageExtension`
adrianstein

do I need a similar autoload thing in all oter modules that come in from composer?

adrianstein

as this is in a custom module and not the main thing

Aaron Cooper

OK. This looks like a namespacing problem and different to your original problem. That error means that the extension cannot be found via that namespace

adrianstein

"autoload": { "psr-4": { "App\OGMetaData\": "src/" }

adrianstein

@Aaron Cooper looks like another new one. now its PHP Warning: Module 'ffmpeg' already loaded in Unknown on line 0

adrianstein

but that is a warning and not an error, plus I can see it in the logs here and there so dont tihnk it matters

adrianstein

scrap that. Got the other one again. didnt refresh my log file 😛

adrianstein

@Aaron Cooper setting my to SS_ENVIRONMENT_TYPE = "test" from = "live" in my .env and loads the site

Enable and Configure mod_rewrite for Apache on CentOS 7 - Arjun

The mod_rewrite module is enabled by default on CentOS 7. If you find it is not enabled on your server, you can enable it by editing 00-base.conf file located in /etc/httpd/conf.modules.d/ directory. Add or uncomment the following line: Save and close the file, then restart the httpd service: Once the mod_rewrite module has been activated, …

Most likely it's not enabled on the conf file the site is using

Jose

Thanks Aaron for your time, I just checked the file and the line with mod_rewrite.so is already there uncommented. I spent hours with that problem, I saw that file several hours ago, I remember now. I do not know what else to do, sorry.

Jose

Apache yes many times, FPM once when I installed, I will restart FPM again now...

Jose

Several hours ago I disabled SELinux that was blocking FPM, now I restarted FPM again:

sestatus

SELinux status: disabled

systemctl enable rh-php72-php-fpm.service

systemctl start rh-php72-php-fpm.service

scl enable rh-php72 bash

systemctl restart httpd

Am I missing something? Thanks

HI everyone. I am sitting with a small problem. Not sure if its because I am integrating with S3 bucket. When I try uploading an image (aprox 100kb) in an upload field I get an unknown type error. When I try uploading the same image via the File admin panel it uploads correctly. What could I do to see what is causing this?
