Hi, I'm trying to delete an asset from my website. it seems to still be active, however, it doesn't seem to exist anymore on my SilverStripe admin page
Hi there, can you be a little more specific please? It sounds like you might be logged into the "Files" area of the CMS, but you can't find a particular image or file so that you can delete it. Is that correct?
thanks for the reply! I'm on the files section, the file was there and I deleted it. It is still visible via Google.
Right, then that is nothing to do with SilverStripe I'm afraid
Google will maintain records of things well after they've been removed from their source or origin (in this case your SilverStripe website)
I've never had to do this before, but this looks like the resource you need to figure out how to do it: https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/4628134?hl=en
step 1: check the URL is not still serving the file.
step 2: wait for google cache to drop it, or force it to update/drop the file.
thanks so much!
@Corinne Phillips please do check that the URL for the image is still not serving it though.
If it isn't, then it's just google needs to update. Otherwise we'd need to know the silverstripe version you're using to help any further.

Hi Anyone knows where I can ask questions related to silverstripe-fluent?
Is a good place to start
Thank you @dorsetdigital
Is there anyone here using https://github.com/jinjie/codeeditorfield ?
I’m finding a weird behaviour. When an edit form is first rendered the field doesn’t render at all. It displays as if it was a ReadOnlyField simply displaying the raw text. If the form is refreshed, the field then renders correctly. The difference I’ve found is that the jinjie/codeeditofield resources somehow are not being triggered (and thus don’t execute to modify the behaviour). Seems that the entwine code in the module is not getting called on the first load?
