the existence of a folder named public is how the composer plugin determines to use it or not

Aaron Cooper

Thanks @nightjarnz and @dorsetdigital - discovered the anomoly in why this site runs for some by not others. It has a grunt build that pumps the app stuff into public-www

Pokey as. We'll refactor

Hi guys, is it possible to modify http://FormField_holder.ss only on front end site, not the admin?

nightjarnz

@stephanus I don't think so I'm afraid. You could probably do something tricky with Injector, but I'm not sure it'd be easy.

wmk

really? it's a template, so you could put this in your frontend theme. Or did I misunderstand the question?

nightjarnz

That is actually a good point, haha! sorry my brain is fried :(

nightjarnz

Themes are not read by the CMS - where as project level templates are. This is the caution :)

wmk

@stephanus If you have a theme, all templates in the theme are frontend only. So you can overwrite field holders. There have been some themes (or modules) e.g. for bootstrap or foundation

Hello SS,

What is the alternative when you want to extend a function that has no $this->extend() ?
