Hey everyone! I have a custom action provider that's not working. In short, I copied the GridFieldEditButton to link to a front end page, even though the address location changes, it just stays on the current ModelAdmin page. Oddly, the page will redirect after a refresh though.
_target=blank to the links? does that work?
ah, good suggestion. I'll try that now.
I think you're onto something with the ajax though, because it is calling the action via xhr on the destination controller.
yes, check the css classes on the link
oh wow. that was it! you have saved my day!
removing classes action and action-detail did it for me. Do they have this documented at all?
phew, dunno. I once wondered how this works magically and looked in the js source
hey everyone, I have a custom grid field action provider that's attempting to redirect to a front end page, but it doesn't redirect without a refresh. Anyone know what's going on there?
hey all. anyone able to point me in the direction to call a controller within a controller, we have this controller created and it moved locations, so without having to move code, I just wanted to "handleRequest" within another controller. anyone know if this is possible?
Hello all. I was wondering if anyone knew why my FunctionalTest will suddenly fail, just because i've added an Image field. The Image field is not required, and the output says that the other fields, that previously worked , are required. The only difference I can see is the enctype on the form has changed and I don't see much about File uploads on Unit Tests. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
me too! thanks again. I don't reach out enough for help, and end up defeated. so thanks for the guidance.
since i have other CheckboxSetFields, and they all happen to be on the related fields, i just assumed it was the cause.
haha, i leave in shame, but thank you!
but it was a minor issue, but since you were able to verify it should work, i noticed the name on the checkboxsetfield was the singular.
yes, i did, because this was all working before.
