@dorsetdigital I think you may have answered part of my earlier question with this https://forum.silverstripe.org/t/adding-svg-to-the-allowed-files-in-ss4/883. I am going to try it and see 🙂. My earlier question was: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/55930759/how-to-insert-an-existing-react-app-with-unconventional-build-files-into-a-sil

Adding SVG to the allowed files in SS4

This one comes up quite a lot on the Slack channel, so I thought it was worth a post here as well. The below is specific to SVG files, but the same techniques apply to other extensions. The first thing to note is that, contrary to what your instinct might think, an SVG isn’t an image file. Any information about whether what I am trying to do is possible or impossible will be very greatly received. So far every step to get React and SS4 to coexist has seemed like I could find next to no resources and required quite advanced understanding?

Bevan Shaw

Currently doing the SS4 lessons so right at the beginning of understanding the framework. Maybe my problem is my knowledge?

Bevan Shaw

If anyone has any ideas how to do this or can point me to what I should be learning that would be amazing!

Bevan Shaw

OK so I am a beginner in SS4 and React and I am trying to solve this problem relating to getting build files from a React project into SS4 so a React app works inside a SS4 project without everything breaking = https://stackoverflow.com/questions/55930759/how-to-insert-an-existing-react-app-with-unconventional-build-files-into-a-sil

If anyone has further suggestions for me it would be awesome. Sorry if redirecting to Stack Overflow like this is bad etiquette!

Hi I am new to this Slack Channel. I asked this question on Stack Overflow today: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/55737585/how-to-insert-inject-an-existing-react-app-just-a-ui-without-a-backend-into/55738234#55738234
