thanks - I think I will do a bit of css fixing while watching it as you suggest & then increase it to an even bigger size while we do all the content creating - I guess thats the tough bit, and from what I’ve read once the images have been resized by the templates the first time it should speed up, & then I should be safe to lower it to 2GB again
ok thanks - was hoping that was the case - & I guess it will be right for half the year!! (just like my oven clock!!! 🤣)
Do you know if the clock on the droplet needs to be accurate? I noticed in the logs that it is an hour wrong? I assumed it was maybe on gmt whereas in the real world we are currently on bst
oooh - good tip. I have just looked at the graphs on digital ocean but they can be hard to see cos the x-axis scale is quite long time
by resources - do you mean the server memory & power or all the images that get uploaded in silverstripe to use on pages?
lucky for me! I think the next thing I need to learn is how to backup!! 😂
plus, it has been quite slow when using the cms. & every now & then cloudflare kicks in when I get impatient & click to new cms areas before it finishes saving & publishing
well, the website is accessible so it cant be a total disaster! 😀
I am sending virtual beers of thanks 🍺🍺🍺🍺 & if by some wierd coincidence I ever meet you in real life there will be real beer!
OMG - you guys are such GENIUSES!!! It worked!!! I never would have thought it was just a memory issue - I was sure I had done a major screw up & ruined everything!!!
