And I preferrd pinning them by url instead of ID. That way it could be fixed without touching the templates.
And I mean at some point you do need to pin somes pages to some stuff in your template. I guess you could make them all different Classes and then ask for the first page of classX. But I’m pretty sure the user will break that to, if he or she is detremind.
oh no. don’t get me wrong. I had plenty of home-2 home pages. it just never happend to stuff i used $Page() for.
ok, never had users that knew how to change those either.
I allways used to do that in my templates for links to contact page and imprint and that stuff. never had trouble.
fair point, Just take those fields away from the user in the cms.
