no external includes with e.g. file_get_contents anywhere? Just had something similar (not Elemental, just SS in general) where the other server timed out...

MichalKleiner

no, nothing like that in the code… surprising thing is the speed is slower in UAT/PROD than in local where the hw resources should be much more performant

MichalKleiner

I’ll ask the host provider to look into SQL logs and enable slow log as well

Maybe one more thing about this topic, is it maybe possible to trigger/force the creation of a page version in the e.g. onAfterPublish event? That could be a workaround...at least on the Content Block pages.

Nightcrawler

I'll check the versioned snapshots, haven't used it yet. Thanks

Nightcrawler

I was very young and found it too complicated and got bored quickly 😉

Nightcrawler

ZX81....even the keys were confusing....like 5 function on a key or so 😉?

Nightcrawler

Just confusing to me....and proabably editors later because often they will only add/edit blocks withouth editing the page's own fields....so they won't see the block's history...

Nightcrawler

I'll have a look at the link, but yes after adding a block and changing the e.g. menu title, the page gets a new version and the block shows with a link to its own history....

Nightcrawler

So even if I add a new block the page hasn't changed? I mean it got some new 'child' elements at least?

Hi, I've an issue with Elemental ^4 (on SS 4.4). I've a ContentBlockPage page type that extends Page and in a yml I added:

  1. ContentBlockPage:
  2. extensions:
  3. - DNADesign\Elemental\Extensions\ElementalPageExtension

When I edit the page without any adding Elemental Blocks, e.g. menu title etc. a new version gets created. However, when adding for e.g. a default elemental block 'Content' and add some content & publish, no new version gets created. In the Elemental docs it says 'Pages history includes content block history out of the box.' Am I missing something?
